Excellent country cuisine halfway between Ligurian and Piacenza, as often happens in these border places.To access the Fieschi Restaurant you need to go down the few steps of the staircase next to the bar from the street (see photos). The environment is very pleasant and the staff courteous. It is the ideal place to relax after a pleasant walk in the center of Santo Stefano.

Excellent view of the mountains from our table. The waitress only spoke a little English and I only speak a little Italian, but we felt very welcomed and had a wonderful meal for a decent price. The next morning, we reheated the remainder of the polenta and made a mixed grilled meat omelet for a delicious breakfast. We will definitely return to this restaurant on our next visit to Val d’Aveto.

Typical cuisine, generous portions, the staff is extremely kind. The place has a rustic taste, very welcoming and clean. The mixed starter is very tasty, the raw materials of the first courses are good... I love the pansotti with walnut sauce, but the tagliatelle with mushroom sauce or pesto sauce also has its reasons. The grilled meat is well done and the portions are generous. Other main courses however have their appeal. Good choice of desserts. I don't know about wines as I'm a teetotaler, but every time I've gone it's always been to my taste.

Very welcoming and warm restaurant. Mountain altosphere with a touch of local objects. Menu with different dishes, all very good, they make grilled meat, very good first courses and desserts. Very honest prices. To return

I had lunch in this ancient Ligurian restaurant in Santo Stefano d'Aveto. They have many seats available both inside and outside. The staff was very kind. The service was quite fast even though there were a lot of people. The value for money is excellent. You can taste typical first courses of Ligurian cuisine, but also second courses based on freshly grilled meat. The ice cream is good.

Very nice restaurant, it looks like a mountain hut or a mountain hut. As soon as I entered, I was struck by the grill and the fresh meats on the counter nearby. From there I knew I would eat divinely and so it was excellent food, excellent meats, impeccable and fast courteous service, truly satisfied. I recommend it. I highly recommend this restaurant especially grilled meat

We had the bistecca alla Fiorentina, and it was one the most flavourful pieces of meat I've ever eaten. Cooked properly over a fire, it was enjoyed with the spectacular view of the valley out the picture windows. Considering we visited during quiet season in the spring, we were very impressed.
